Calling 311
1. First call 311, get a service request number and the timeframe thatconcern will take to get addressed
2. If not addressed, you can contact the appropriate agency. Ask for the
division that handles your concern, provide your service request number and GET A CONTACT NAME, PLEASE. 311 can be used to get feedback for your concern.
3. Tell them the issue is still on-going and have not been addressed.
4. If the concern is still not addressed and on-going;
5. Please call me with the service request number, name of the contact and division
6. To get the number to any department you can call 410-396-3100 which is the city general information line.
Housing
Call 311 to report your concern. If not addressed, call the Housing Inspections Office at 410-396-7736, tell them what neighborhood you live in and ask to speak to that housinginspector with your service request number ready in hand. If the housing concern is way over due, please ask the Housing Inspector to refer to Property Management if cleaning or boarding is necessary.
Sanitation Enforcement (for occupied properties in use by a resident)
Call 311. If not addressed call the Sanitation Enforcement Division at (410) 545-6497 with your service request number in hand. Please get a contact name and follow-upNote: Ask if the property was cited, how many times and if it will be
referred to housing inspections for further code and legal enforcement
Public Works (dirty alley, street, collection)
Call 311. If not addressed, call the SE yard at 410-396-9952 with your servicerequest number. Ask for the supervisor for the area
Department of Transportation
Call 311. If not address call the general number at 410-396-6802, state your concern and ask for the division that handles your concern
(ex. Light out, asking for one in the lighting department). Provide service request number and get contact name
Police Department

For emergencies call 911
Non emergencies call 311
On-going concerns, call the Police Neighborhood Service Division
Southeast District: 410 637 8848
After you submitted your concern, please follow-up with that officer to
see how, get contact name and what was done.
